My little sister from another mister is off to Indiana for grad school and I couldn't be prouder. I'm also a wreck because Rachel (lovingly nicknamed RAK because of her initials) has been my sister's best friend since they were 8-9 years old, therefore, she's been my other sister since she was in fourth grade.
It's safe to say that a big piece of RAK's heart will remain in Wisconsin with her friends and family.
But Indiana (ironically where both my sister and I were born) will be the place where both her mind and heart grows.
Here's to RAK taking a big risk all on her own in a new state. Here's to one teensy lady with big goals and an even bigger heart. I can't wait to see what Indiana has in store for her and what she has in store for all of us.
P.S. today is RAK's birthday! Be sure to wish her well if you have the pleasure of knowing her!
P.P.S. RAK's talented mom made those amazing Wisconsin and Indiana cookies! They tasted as good as they looked.
