I've been getting back into reading lately, which my brain and soul are both thankful for. There is something about holding a physical book or magazine in my hands that can't be matched with an iPad or e-reader, which is why I never hesitate purchasing them.
Everything I've been reading lately has been filling me up with the nutrients I've deprived myself of since summer. Domino meets my interior design needs, Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes fulfills my beauty addiction, Eat Pretty: Nutrition for Beauty, Inside and Out by Jolene Hart reminds me that I need to take better care of my insides, The First Bad Man - A Novel by Miranda July fills me up with stories of relationships, sex and feminism, and Darling and Kinfolk give me beautiful things and people to look at.
I feel better about everything in my life when I read. It's refreshing to unplug and sign off for 30 minutes to an hour (or longer if I give myself time).
