Rumors have been surrounding this blush for quite a while as it's a monster to get ahold of. Is it discontinued? Is it not?
NARS Madly is the blush in question and I'm still not sure I have the answer.
I recently returned the two Commodity perfumes I ordered online to my nearest Sephora as they were not the right scents for me. I had intended to just pick up my favorite Origins serum (I also made a return to Ulta for a different serum that did NOT smell good), but I made a cheeky browse over to the NARS station just to see if Madly was magically in stock. After six months of this blush not being available I didn't think I'd ever have a chance to own it. I thought the beauty brand was phasing it out of its collection. BUT ALAS - this time, this very time, my Sephora had Madly in stock.
The store's beauty specialists and guests likely thought I was having an emotional episode based on my level excitement - and I was. There were only two left and one became mine.
Now, those reading this might be wondering why I'd be so excited over a blush that resembles a mixture of mud and cement at first glance. But I'm telling you - it's beautiful. It gives my cheeks definition and offers a subtle color for a more vibrant complexion. It goes with every makeup look and can be used for both blush and contour on my fair skin. There is a slight shimmer running though it that provides an unassuming glow and radiance.
I can't believe I own it. NARS Madly is the unicorn of blushes and it's mine, all mine.
