We've been promised with thunderstorms this Sunday, so I've prepared for a cozy day in. I went for a simple makeup look that didn't take too much time to create, but that also brightened my face on a gloomy day. Using the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal underneath the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in Porcelain, I was able to achieve a dewy, natural base. I used a light concealer under the eyes and buffed it out using the e.l.f. Studio Small Stipple Brush. For eyebrows I went for quick and easy with my Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette. On my eyes I slightly defined the lid with Stark and Frisk from the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette and defined the lashes with my Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara. On the cheeks I went for FratBoy blush by theBalm, which I obviously applied with my Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder Brush, a holy grail brush in my collection. On the lips, I wanted something that felt like a lip balm, but gave off color like a lipstick. The NYX Cosmetics Lip Butter in Sweet Tart was perfect.
Sunday is my favorite day of the week until it hits about 6:00 p.m. Hopefully a thunderstorm and this fresh makeup look can help cure the Sunday blues and encourage a productive week.
